Workshop Info & Card Competition Winner

Hope you are all having a fantastic Easter Weekend.

I have just had a lovely day celebrating a family birthday at a local pub/resataurant with all the kids - Great fun!! And the weather has been amazing hasn't it? We were sat out in the Beer Garden enjoying the sun whist the kids coloured in pictures and played football!

Now back home - Ben in bed, shattered and me and Chris are watching Wedding Singer whilst I type this! Love trashy films on Bank Holidays!

Really excited about the next few weeks ahead - Lots and Lots going on so really got to spend some time this weekend clearing my craft table ready to start work on all the projects and samples! Will tell you more next week!!!

Just one quick update - I have more info for you on the first ever workshop with Myself and Lindsay Mason.........................

Craft with Amy & Lindsay

Sunday 15th May

This is to be held at The Brewer's Fayre, Oakenhurst Farm, Off Eccleshill Road, Lower Darwen, Blackburn.

It is going to be a really fun filled day of crafting with myself and Lindsay which starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm

The full cost of the day is just £30 which includes use of all materials for the day for all the projects and light refreshments throughout too.

The only thing we ask you to bring are your own scissors & paper trimmers

There is a lovely bar/restaurant attached and lots of free parking. It is also just off the motorway and very, very easy to find.

To book, drop me an email at
mrsashaw@googlemail.com - but, must tell you that half of the places have allready gone - so don't delay as it's going to be a fun creative day with lots of techniques too!

Now for the drum roll..........................................

The One Layer Card Competition closed at 9am this morning and there were so many entries that I just cannot fit them all on here for you, so I have narrowed it down to these entries:

After much pondering and ending up putting it to the vote of my inlaws this afternoon (as I could just not decide) the winner is....................................... Lisa!!

Congratulations Lisa!! Your card was picked for various reasons including your masking technique; sentiments and colour! Well Done!

Drop me an email mrsashaw@googlemail.com and I will get your crafty gift into the post for you!

Well done to everyone else who entered I loved every single one of your entries - truly, I did.

Lots of your emailed to say that you had found it difficult to do as it was so against cards that you normally do - That was the fun of it!! Good to stretch ourselves sometimes, don't you think?!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back again next week with another competition - and update!

Big Hugs
