MAC Cosmetics!

I am SO in love with MAC Makeup!

Spent a fab afternoon yesterday with Dawn and Paula Pascual at the Trafford Centre in Manchester having our make up done! I can't remember the last time I had a girly day out - It was so much fun!!

I went with the intention of buying a couple of pieces - but I ended up with 8 plus a set of make up brushes that came in a cute little metallic purse!! I'm a sucker for girly things!



After we had our make up done we met up with JJ and his Brother who is over from South Africa for Tapas! The meal was lovely - I love Tapas - as I can never make up my mind in resataurants what to have or I always pick something safe that I have all the time - at least with Tapas you can have a bit of everything! I had 4 dishes and then a pudding! Yummy!

We then did a bit more shopping(!) well it would be rude not too show Paula around the Trafford Centre as she had never been before - And then set off home at about 10pm. Got home to find my gorgeous little boy hard and fast asleep in his bed and my Husband watching some strange film about robots or something - So had a cuddle on the settee. It was a good day!

Finally Time to Sit & Play!

Well, it's been ages since I had time to sit at my craft table and just play around! I think it has something to do with the fact that I have just completely gutted my craft room and filled 18 bin bags full - That I can now finally get to my table and craft!! It took two trips to the skip!!
Anyway, feels great now, a completely clean room and clear table - With only the essentials which besides crafting things include my TV/DVD and my Yankee Candles!! Heaven!!










Well, I decided to have a play with Dawn's new Owl stamp sets and Distress Ink Pads from Ranger - To be honest, Distressing and all that is not really my thing - but I thought I would have a go with these pads and see what I could come up with!!

Then I had a play with Shrink Plastic - One of my favourite mediums but not used for a while! Such fun!



Only thing I have to do now is decided which technique I am going to use this weekend at Dawn's Residential Weekend for the Make and Take Section on Sunday! Decisions, Decisions!!





Anyway, best get off to bed - busy weekend ahead!

Christmas Cards!

I don't know what to do!
Do you know, I think I have made up my mind as to what I am going to do for my Christmas Cards this year and then another box of goodies arrive at work and I change my mind again!!

First of all I was going to do Crafty Individual Stamps with Gilding Flakes; then it was a gorgeous stamp that arrived from Hero Arts and now today, I have changed to a gorgeous set of stamps from Paper Artsy!!! Aaarrgghhh!!
I think I just need to buy them and stop looking at new goodies that come in!

Think I will have a play around with them this weekend - I'll post some piccies later to let you know how I've got on!
